As predicted, ( current ) Florida Governor Charlie Crist decided it was OK to cut funding that was already appropriated to ensure uninterrupted service for the beautiful and much needed Mayport Ferry ( AND, A1A highway continuity ! ).
Hopefully, some group will step forward to locate another funding source and ensure that the Mayport Ferry does not fall victim to the continued political grandstanding of the Crist regime.
Perhaps, the voters should demand a recall election, or, at the very least, remember this, and other, idiotic decisions of his and make sure that he does NOT get the chance the “Serve” us again.
